What Causes Heart Palpitations?
Lately when I m resting or just doing small things around the house my heart will start beating very fast, to the point where I can feel it. Almost hear it. I just started getting chest pain but It doesn t make a lot of sense because I m an active athlete and I play waterpolo in college?

Palpitations in your case may be suggestive of any arrythmias.So get an ECG,2D ECHO of your heart to confirm the diagnosis.Also get lipid profile,complete blood piture,hs CRP to assess the risk of heart disease.Get your BP and heart rate checked immediately.Drugs like Metoprolol can be helpful in your case.If palpitations occur along with dizziness,chestpain report to your doctor immediately.Take low salt high protein diet.consult your cardiologist for expert management.
