What Causes Heart Palpitations?

While sleeping, I feel a rhythmic tapping internally, much faster than pulse. It feels like heart palpitations, but my pulse is consistent when it is occurring. I am not sweating, and there is no pain. I have worn a Halter monitor for 24 hours, with no irregularities noted. Doctors seem stumped....any ideas? Low blood pressure?

heart palpitation 1. high when you are suffering from valve disease if halter monitoring is normal then every thing is normal .
2 . if you are taking a stress then also you will feel palpitation .
3. Other cause gor high palitation is imsominia ( lack of sleep).
4. if you are taking a drugs like ( digoxin )
