My 21 year old, single, Caucasian, daughter, 5 5 , 100lbs, in good health, good diet, non smoker, no drugs, has episodes, several times per week, when she experiences heart palpitations, hot flashes, sweating, lightheadedness, dizziness, fading vision, nausea, a feeling she will pass out, and her skin turns bright red. These episodes last approximately two or three minutes and afterwards she appears to be fine. These episodes are distressing for her. Is there a medical reason to explain her symptoms?
