What Causes Heart Racing, Left Arm Pain After Received Shock In Ear/chest?

I received a shock from a pair of headphones (one was in my ear and one was on my chest) and I pulled it out almost immediately there was no full shock or anything. My heart started racing and now today (it was on Sunday) my heart and left arm is hurting.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Electric shock can cause muscular pain due to the damage to the muscles that can occurs as a result of the electricity passing through the body.

The pain would last a few days and then resolve. You can take anti inflammatory medication such as ibuprofen, cataflam, aspirin.

I hope this helps
