What Causes Heartbeat Like Pulse Underneath Sternum?

Hello ,I am 17 years old 5' feet and there's a pulse like a heartbeat pulse underneath my sternum , and no I am not pregant. Doctor said that it was a stuck gas which I don't believe because I have told people about this and check to see if they have a pulse too and they don't. null

First of all check that is it beating at the same rate as heart beats (i.e. 60- 90/min). If yes than it may be either due to pulsations of thoracic aorta or sometimes due to beating of right ventricle.
Do not worry for any pulsations in your body untill it is creating a discomfort to you. There are any arteries in our body whose pulsations can be felt superficially.
