Hello,

Regarding your concern, I would explain that your symptoms could be related to different possible causes: acid reflux, radicular nerve pain in this region, a musculoskeletal pain, etcetera. For this reason, I would recommend consulting with your attending physician for a physical exam and some tests:
- A resting ECG and a cardiac ultrasound
- A chest x-ray study
- Complete blood count, PCR, ESR for inflammation
- A cervical spine and shoulder joint x-ray study.
I would also recommend trying a PPI (omeprazole, pantoprazole, etc.). If they help improve your situation, I would recommend performing a fibrogastroscopy, to investigate for acid reflux or gastritis. You should discuss with your doctor on the above issues.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka
