What Causes Heartburn With Painful Teeth And Jaw While Having Ear Infection?

I am experiencing severe heartburn, aching front teeth and jaw, severe ear ache in both ears, and my sinuses hear. I occasionally experience heartburn, but I have had it for three days now. Could this be some type of inner ear infection putting pressure on my teeth?

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

So sorry to hear about your problem and will try my best to resolve it..

As per your complain it seems that you are suffering from 2 conditions:
-One is acid reflux leading to Heartburn as when the acid refluxes from stomach to mouth it can cause inflammation of the food pipe leading to heartburn..
-Secondly aching of front teeth, jaw pain and earache seems to be probably due to sinus infection or sinusitis leading to ear infection..
As the sinuses are close to the upper teeth, therefore infection in sinuses can lead to pain and pressure in teeth..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like PNS view x ray or MRI scan can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..

You can be advised a course of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, decongestants like Pseudoephadrine, do saline nasal irrigation, steam inhalation and use a humidifier in your room..
You can also be advised decongestant nasal sprays containing Xylometazoline or Oxymetazoline..
Avoid spicy and chilled foods..
Do warm compresses around nostrils..

For acid reflux I would suggest you to consult a Gastroenterologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like upper G.I Endoscopy can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
You can be advised to take Proton Pump Inhibitors like Omeprazole or Pantoprazole..
Take antacids like Milk of magnesia..
Avoid spicy food and drink plenty of water..
Always take walk after meals and take your dinner atleast 2 hours before sleep..
You should sleep with head slightly raised as compared to feet..

Hope this helps..

Regards..
