Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of heartburn's and chest pain on left side which is due to a condition known as gastroesophageal reflux disease in which there is excessive production of acid which leads to chest pain. Need not to panic about it. You need to have few lifestyle modifications. Eat smaller but frequent meals. Don't lie down immediately after having food. Take combination of antacid such as Ranitidine along with proton pump inhibitors such as Pantoprazole. Exercise on daily basis. avoid taking sharp, spicy and fried food substances. drink plenty of water. Your symptoms will start resolving. If symptoms persists visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. Go for ECG as well to check cardiac functions and start treatment accordingly.
