What Causes Heat And Tingling Sensation In Body While Using Beta Blocker?

Hi my blood pressure is running 173/90! I have stage 3 kidney disease! I m scared because my blood pressure hasn t been like this but I would say the last few days I have been feeling really hot and I ll and my feet tingle really bad! I am I a beta blocker but that s all. My kidney Dr took me off my blood pressure medicine and I don t know why. Please help........thanks. jill

Understanding your concern. As per your query heat and tingling sensation in body due to causes like hypothyroidism that is reduced thyroid levels in blood.It can also be due to Vitamin B12 deficiency, Diabetic Neuropathy , multiple sclerosis , cardio vascular diseases,Lyme's disease etc. Side effect of certain medicine can also cause such symptoms . I would suggest you to consult a Medicine Specialist or Neurologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation along with investigations like Hormonal assy, blood glucose levels, MRI Scan and Nerve conduction velocities can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly.As of now you can take Vitamin B complex supplements, take nutritious die and take ample of rest. Doctor may also refer you to cardiologist .
Control stress by meditation and breathing exercises..
