What Causes Heaviness Behind My Head And Congestion?

I have heaviness behind my head and some pain (throbbing) that happens every night, I feel some congestion. Morning when I wake up and use vicks vaporub, the pain reduces and I get some relief, and then I have some cold and use some tissues. It has been recurring for more than 4 days now.

I have gone through your query regarding morning headache and heaviness behind your head which get relief by vick's inhalation for last 4 days.

Your medical history is similar to a case of sinusitis, therefore it appears as you are suffering from sinusitis, as a rule sinus headache is usually more in morning hours and it gets relief by steam inhalation or gets reduce as the day passes.

This probable diagnosis may be confirmed by X-Ray paranasal sinuses. To get relief you may take-

1- Tab paracetamol.

2- Anti histaminic.

3- Steam inhalation.

4- Antibiotic preferably broad spectrum.
