What Causes Heaviness In Chest And Pressure On Right Shoulder?
my 17 year old daughter has been complaining that her chest /rib area has been bothering her and it feels heavy /hard to get air in, pressure on her right shoulder in the back. she was seen by our local dr. and xray and blood work came back with no issues.

The symptoms seem to be related to a pinched nerve in the shoulder. A pinched nerve in the shoulder occurs when a nearby structure irritates or presses on a nerve coming from the neck. I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the pain. I also suggest to immobilize the area to prevent further damage.
