What Causes Heaviness In The Arms After Taking A DTaP Vaccination?
Hi , I just took my 12 yr old for the tap imz. Immediately after the shot he pasted out for about 1minute and shook and his eyes rolled and now 2-1/2 hrs later his arm is heavy and hard to move. He is restring and has an ice pac on it off and on. Why would this happen and can I give him some ibuprofen? He s a healthy and active kid.

It may be related to some muscle injury or nerve injury. You can apply ice packs and give Ibuprofen. It will resolve in a weeks time.
