What Causes Heaviness In The Eyes And Tingling Sensation In The Body?

About ten min ago I was falling asleep but my eyes started feeling a little heavy and all of a sudden I couldn t move anything and could only hear my breathing and my body felt number tingly for about ten seconds before I finally got my foot to slightly move which snapped my whole body out of it. Could this be sleep paralysis? (I ve experienced sleep paralysis many times before as a kid but it never happend as I was trying to fall asleep, only as I was waking up)
