What Causes Heaviness In The Head And Neck After Exposure To Spray Paint?

Hello I was recently using spray paint to color some sports gear and wasn t wearing a mask. I did this for a couple of hours one day, took a day break and finished it in a couple of hours the final day. I ve been feeling a bit ill since then. I get this weird heavy headed feeling and a rush like feeling that starts behind my neck and radiates up to the back of my head. Should I be worried?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is due to minor hypoxia after exposure to fumes.

Nothing much to worry and it will settle by itself.

As of now, no defensive treatment is required.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
