What Causes Heaviness In The Head, Dry Cough And Nasal Congestion?
My head is very heavy... It hurts when I move... Eyes hurt when rotating as well... i have a dry cough and somewhat nasal congestion... I can t sleep better because I can feel the heat of my body... i have somewhat body temp of 35.2° to 38.8° all throughout the day... But I feel really heavy eventhough i have 37.0° body temp.
Your symptoms are indicative of cold associated with sinusitis. You are suggested to visit an ENT, get physically examined. Get X-Ray PNS done to rule out any septum deviation.
Take steam inhalation, it is very effective. It will clear mucus. You need antihistamines, decongestants & bromocriptine for dry cough. Take medicines under your treating doctor.
For headache take analgesics, you may need antibiotics if you have a bacterial infection.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
