What Causes Heaviness In The Leg While On Amlodipine?

Hi I was given amlodiine as blood pressure has been on the high side was to take it along with my usual blood pressure tablet that I have been taking for one and half year. Got up this morning feeling fine I had taken breakfast and my amlodiine tablet after an hour my legs felt heavy and felt unwell I have been on this tablet for 4 days . I am also taking simvastatin. Would the amlodiine cause this

I have gone through your query. Amlodipine can cause edema of legs in some people. If you are getting this then you can ask your physician for another drug.
