respected sir, i m deepak , in the month of oct 2010 ,i m not speaking properly ,more effert for speak .i was this pro from childhood but i was little that time,now it has more ,i have consult to dif doctor but these r not get my pro &mostly provid relax medicen,&one doctor provid brain tone,stramonium,brahmayan.i m taking this med from 2 months,but not effect, sir i feel little pain in my vane toung &toung has heavy to speak .pls give advice

Hi,

The commonest causes are:
- Anxiety and stress related stammering.
- Problems with brain and nerves related to speech and tongue movements.

Hence I would advise you to consult a speech therapist first for clinical evaluation and management to be started as he/she alone can give you speech therapy. Clinical evaluation by a neurologist as well as ENT surgeon about the factors I discussed above. Get an MRI of brain and related nerves. Get a psychiatrist's opinion if the reports are normal and counselling may help you further. Rest of the treatment as per the findings by the Specialist Doctors and investigations.
