What Causes Heavy Abnormal Menstrual Bleeding And Blood In Stool?
Hi my friend is on the pill and happened to miss her pill for two days and her period started, she went back on the pill as soon as she noticed and her period has not stopped and has been extremely heavy for a month now, and now is seeing blood in her stool. she went to her primary doctor and they said she has to wait another month before they would do anything. They did not run tests, or do a pap smear or anything. what do you think. Thank you
Conditions like fibroiduterus must be excluded. As a first-line management you can take over the counter available drugs like tranexa to control bleeding.
If symptoms persist better to consult a gynecologist and get evaluated. An ultrasound scan is required to make a diagnosis.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
