What Causes Heavy And Dark Periods Long After Discontinuing Depo Shot?

I was on the depo shot for about a year or so my periods stopped completely and I ve been off it for almost 2 years years my periods were getting back to normal in Feb and March i had the seven day period but they were really heavy and cramping this month I had sex with a guy I was seeing and I got my period on Sunday but it s been different with brownish blood and now it s turning pink nothing like my usual periods always have been is it possible I m pregnant? I ve taken tests but they ve come out negative i don t know what else would make this period so different and I ve had it for three days now

not to worry about the pregnancy
each menestrual cycles are different from one another, 3-7 days bleeding in each period is normal, brownish colour is because of the old blood retained which is being discharged now, usually the disharge turns pinkish towards the end of the cycle due to scanty discharge. still you are not convinced you can get serum beta hcg levels tested
