General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Menstrual disturbances in the form of heavy bleeding and/or longer periods are known side effects to be experienced by few when on contraception. These symptoms subside on its own or may be set right by means of medication.
Since you are also complaining of bleeding after sex, it would be better for you to get evaluated. You may require a PAP smear examination for these symptoms.
Kindly consult Gynecologist at the earliest for proper evaluation and management.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best and wish you good health.
