What Causes Heavy And Painful Menstruation After Ectopic Pregnancy Surgery?

Hi had emergency surgery on May 8th due to an ectopic pregnancy and I was 5 weeks. I think I m having my first period which started last Friday but it s heavy and it s painful. I m not bleeding through pads every hour but it s hurts bad. Can you tell me what I should do n if this is normal?

Hello,

I think it can be normal pain due to endometrial lining shedding. I don't think this can be because of ectopic pregnancy but can be normal after it.
