What Causes Heavy Bleeding After Abortion?

I had an abortion on 24th November. I was 4 weeks pregnant from CONCEPTION. I experienced light bleeding for the 1st 2 weeks. That stopped. However, following that, I experienced white discharge. On 13th and 16th of December, and today, I have been experiencing VERY heavy bleeding. What should I do?

This may represent a number of things, like your next period, some retained products of conception or some genital tract infection.
Best way to sort this out is to plan a Gynecologist visit & have a pelvic ultrasound.
