What Causes Heavy Bleeding After Intercourse?

i had sex 2 days after my period and i've taken the morning after pill. 2 days later, i begin to experience bleeding, like having period again. Today is the 3rd day and it is still heavy and think, is this normal? should i contact my gynae now? I've a great child and not ready for another one. pls help
