What Causes Heavy Bleeding And Discharge Of Blood Clots During Periods?

ok i have always had bad periods well this one just doesn't seem right i started my period yesterday early morning and now its the next day and late afternoon i am bleeding through my tampons every 45minutes to an hour and at the same time i have blood clots like the size of a dollar coin and they are going around the tampon and coming out is this normal
