What Causes Heavy Bleeding And Pain During Periods After Laproscopy?

Why is my period bleeding so heavy and painful 4 weeks after laproscopic ovarian cystectomy- borderline tumour? They also performed a diagnostic hysterosopy. I did have a post surgical infection but finished my antibiotics. Am really worried why getting fresh blood after 8th day of period.
