My stepdaughter recently started taking birth control pills and has had her period, basically, for the past 2 weeks. Tonight, her menstrual flow became heavy and was accompanied by large clots and shooting pain in her abdomen. Should i take her to the hospital?

Hello dear
Understand your concern
Menstruation since last two week is nit normal. You should consult the gynecologist:
Following are the causes: Dysfunctional uterine bleeding, endometriosis, endometrial dysplasia, endometrial cancer.
Immediately consult the gynecologist and get the following investigations:
USG scan, PAP smear, vaginal examination, urine examination, endometrial biopsy.
Doctor may provide treatment depend upon cause.
Take meftal spas for pain. tranexemic acid reduce the amount of blood, povera tablet should be given
If blood will not stop D & C should be done.
