What Causes Heavy Bleeding And Rapid Heart Rate After An Abortion?

Good morning I had an abortion on the 2nd of January , my bleeding was light and after one week that is on the 12 I had heavy bleeding with very large clots I went to the chemist and bought medications to stop the blood because I was bleeding for more than a week and it was heavy.My problem now is when I walk for about 15mins my legs are sore and I still feel pregnant. My heart rate beats faster too. Please help,

Hi,

While such a feeling may be normal, but as you said you had significant bleeding, fast heart rate and sick feeling may be signs of low blood ( low haemoglobin).

Some times there may be some infection. So I would personally advise your should see your doctor for proper assessment and management.
