What Causes Heavy Bleeding With Cramps After Menopause?

Yes, I am a 54 year old african American female who stopped her periods about 4 years ago. But about 9 months ago I bled for about a half a day an today I started bleeding again. Earlier it was spotting but today it s pretty heavy with cramping. Should I be concerned?
