Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Heavy Breathing While Suffering From Obesity?
My oldest sister, a physical therapist, when visiting the house says sometimes my breathing is heavy & labored. I m obese and am trying my best to be active and watch what I eat. I m 5 fit 1 inches and weigh 185 pounds. I am schizophrenic, asthmatic, use a CPAP machine at night, and suffer from acid reflux, and I worry about my heart health. I take Vital Reds powder for polyphenols to get in my system--to clean out my system. Because of my weight I suffer from arthritis of the knees, and loss of calcium bone structure all through my body makeup. Would you say to get the weight off ASAP by faithfully following Weight Watchers Online. I get so worn out sometimes just after the weekend. What do you advise me to do? Please wait until tomorrow at work for me to continue with a new password...Thank you.
You have so many factors that affect your breathing problems: asthma, acid reflux, weight. I recommend you to do an ECG and cardiac sonography to value your heart function.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
