What Causes Heavy Brown Vaginal Bleeding After Taking Plan B?

I took plan b on monday after contraceptive failed i took the pill within 20 minutes and on monday was the day i finished my last period as well and I started getting quite heavy brown discharge today and i was wondering if thats normal or if thats spotting because I m pregnant.

I understand your concern.
Plan B is an emergency contraceptive pill. It needs to be taken within 72 hours after an unprotected intercourse to prevent pregnancy.
Hence, what you have done is right. The symptoms you have mentioned, are indicative of side effects of the pill. You can still do a home pregnancy test to rule out any possibility.
The pill would prevent pregnancy by causing withdrawal bleeding within 3 weeks from the intake of the pills.
In case this doesn't happen, you need to seek medical attention immediately.
