What Causes Heavy Menses With Blood Clots?

What cause heavy menses with clot blood? I was given an injection monthly for 6 months to expedite the menopause but yet after 3 months later I experience heavy menses same as before given the injection.now I am having mesenteric adenitis .burning pain at lower abdomen with heavy mense.really suffer.what type of treatment should I get?
