What Causes Heavy Menstrual Bleeding After Removal Of Merina IUD?
I had my iud for almost 4 years but just had my iud merina removed on January 10, 2017 had no problemas and on January 8 had my period i think for about a few hours and then next day stop and then started having pregnancy symptoms and took 3 different pregnancy test and diferente days but day all came out negative . On feb 12 started my period ligh but today feb 13 starde bleeding heavily . Just wanted know if ths normal or not
First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately.
Based on the history you have shared, you need to have a follow up with your primary gynaecologist who did the procedure earlier and local infection needs to be ruled out along with ultrasound of pelvis and per vaginal examination to look for the local cause of bleeding.
Coagulation profile and blood counts may also be needed.
