What Causes Heavy Menstrual Bleeding In A 49 Year Old Person?
Hi I am 49 and I have always had a normal every 28 days period but its very heavy and lasts 7 or 8 days but for the last 3 months I have been getting it every 21 days still heavy but only 4 days . could I be starting menopause finally, I have no other symptoms and have never had pain during my period

The irregular periods at this late age of forties, yes, it could be the time of menopause. It is not always you will be having other associated symptoms.
In case the bleeding is continuous for more than a week and small amount you may need to visit your gynecologist for further evaluation.
