What Causes Heavy Menstrual Bleeding?
Hello I am Swati. I am 23 years old. Unmarried. I have regular periods. Before 2months, I started facing problem of heavy bleeding than usual. Earlier I used to get cramps during period. Since 2months, cramps have been noticably reduced, leaving heavy bleeding. It is my 6th day today, I am bleeding heavily and releasing clots. I shown to gynac. Had blood tests, whose reports are normal for thyroid. And Hb is 11. Gynac also checked my breast. She recommended me tab Primolut N for 15days twice a day. And OCP from 5th day of my next period for 3 months. I just want to know, what this analysis say about my health. What measures need I take hereafter?

Go for an ultrasound abdomen. Yes need to take Ocps to normalise the cycles... But try to find out underlying Pathology. Need to get some hormonal tests lh fsh prolactin. But I guess ultrasound will show something
