No Dr will examine me while bleeding (I ve called 3 different clinics). Yes - I am insured, yes - I am educated, yes - I have a job. I can t live like this anymore. Please help
Hello there. I have read through your question and can understand your problem. heavy menstrual bleeding can be a sign of an underlying problem for eg. Fibroiduterus. I would advise you get an U.S.G pelvis done for proper diagnosis. If you are diagnosed with fibroid you may have to take hormonal therapy for a few months. For the time being tranexemic acid can help to control your bleeding. you can talk to your gynaecologist about it as it is a prescription drug. I hope that answers your query. If you have any other questions please feel free to write.
