Hello,

There are many medical conditions which can cause mucus discharge in stool. When stool has visible mucus, it can be a sign of bacterial infections, anal fissures, a bowel obstruction, or Crohn's disease. I suggest a stool test and a colonoscopy for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
