What Causes Heavy, Painful And Swollen Leg While Bending The Knee?

I have been dealing with foot pain for about 2 months now but over the last two days my right leg has felt heavy (from the knee to the ankle) and appears swollen. It is also painful when I bend my knee backwards but not painful at any other time. Is this something I should see my doctor about?
