What Causes Heavy Period Bleeding With Dripping After Childbirth?

I had a baby 1 in a half months ago and I started my period on feb 15th today feb 22nd I woke up to heavy bleeding I have been heavy bleeding for the past 3 days and it's starting to worry me. I sat on the toilet and it was dripping out is this normal? Before my pregnancy my periods were 5 days long and not heavy
