What Causes Heavy Sensation In The Chest While On Atorvastatin?

Hi Dr. I have been taking Atorvastatin for about a month now. I have been experienced some chest heaviness, not really alarmed though. I can breath good. However, Ive never experienced it before. Also, today the skin around my eyes are quite puffy and red. Its starting to itch. Ive never had this happen before. I do have a little muscle pain. I work-out 3 times per week and walk. I don t want to take this medication any longer. Can I just quit taking it? I will be seeing my Dr. tomorrow for a follow-up, but im curious if the red puffiness around my eyes is a side effect. Thanks, Jackie
