What Causes Heavy Spotting After Laparoscopic Hysterectomy?

Hello, I had a laparoscopic hysterectomy 4 weeks ago, 3 weeks ago I had heavy bleeding and was instructed complete bed rest. Since then I have noticed a discharge and spotting when I go to the restroom to tinkle however, I ve noticed this slight discharge, mostly dark is irritating. Could this discharge be from an abscess?

Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Bleeding and spotting after hysterectomy is common till the surgical site heals.
However, if the discharge is foul smelling or irritating, then you should get yourself examined by your operating surgeon to confirm the cause.
