What Causes Heavy Vaginal Bleeding After D&C Procedure?

I had a d and c due to miscarriage at 12 weeks last two weeks ago Friday. I am having extreame amounts of pressure with tissue passing the size of my palm and very heavy bleeding. I called my Doctor explained the situation and he said there is nothing he can do and will give me no more medication.....is this normal symptoms after this procedure?

Hello,
Welcome to hcm,
Heavy menstrual flow following D and C is common you need not worry. If the flow is continuing after a week and heavy then you can take drugs like tranexamic acid or mefenamic acid which will help to reduce the bleeding or you can get ultrasound done to see if any products are still remaining.

Thank you
