General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

PCOS does not generally cause heavy bleeding, it normally causes rare and light menstruation. Because you have had a delivery recently and the medications are not helping control the bleeding, it is important that you have a gynecological examination and trans-vaginal ultrasound. These will rule out infection or other structural problems that may be responsible for the bleeding.

I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.
