What Causes Heavy Vaginal Bleeding During 5 Weeks Of Postpartum?
I am almost 5 weeks postpartum and about two days ago after having light spotting I started bleeding very heavily with medium to large clots the biggesr was about the size of a lime. Im completely filling a pad every 2 hours. Im also having cramps. Is this normal or should I go to the er? I dont know if this will make a difference but I havent had sex but I have done anal sex at 3 weeks postpartum and a few times since. Coukd it possibly have done harm?

As per your description, if at all the bleeding is heavy, then you may want to visit an ER, although bleeding is common a while post-partum I would request you to report to an ER if the bleeding lasts longer than 1-2 days. But for now, try not to stress and get as much rest as possible.
The anal intercourse will not cause any harm and should not be the cause for the vaginal bleeding, so please do not worry.
