What Causes Heavy Vaginal Bleeding Upon Intake Of I-pill?

Hello doc, My gf took ipill on 16th may .. den she got heavy bleeding for around 8-10 days. Strtd from 20st.. after a month till now she did not get any period(20june).. usually she gets by 15th.. so is delaying happening because of pills... and how much time should she wait for 2nd period ?? Pls. Reply..

Tell her to eat for a week and if still doesn't come she should have an usg and rule out any missed abortions.
