What Causes Heavy Vaginal Bleeding While Suffering From PCOS?

Hi doctor..i started taking novelon on the 3rd day of periods.now its the 5th day of my period.but my bleeding has not reduced.i have been diagnosed with pcos.Planning for a baby,so the doc said to take novelon to regulate my period. Can you please tell why my bleeding is not stopping even though i took novelon..
