What Causes Heavy Vaginal Bleeding?

The right hand side of my vaginal wall feels hard. The left side is much softer and fleshier. I do not have any lumps at all just this harder side on the right hand side. I have had the papilloma virus I. The past and some cells removed by laser and at the moment I have really heavy periods. I am 46 years old

Hi,

You need to get internally examined to check your cervix... & vaginal wall biopsy after colposcopy.

To arrest the bleeding by routine/cause specific medication & procedures would be the next stage of management.

You should see your doctor urgently or go to ER in view to start with treatment earliest.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
