Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Yes, I have vaginal bleeding everyday, yes everyday, sometimes its extremely heavy and clots of blood comes out. I have been and presently still going to my doctor, they have ruled out diseases or cancer, but I am tired of living like this, I cant have a normal life like this, would you please shed some light on this matter for me?
Heavy vaginal bleeding could be due to adenomyosis/ fibroid, hormonal imbalance, endometriosis, polyp, endometrial/cervix dysplasia, endometrium cancer. I would suggest to consult gynecologist and undergo vaginal examination, USG scan, PAP smear/colposcopy, endometrial biopsy to rule out cause. Specific treatment will depend on cause. After treatment you can definitely will have normal life. Progesterone pill/shot and intrauterine devises will help to stop bleeding.
Tranexemic acid can be useful. If drugs not responds then D & C should be done. Avoid stress, take healthy diet with iron and multivitamin supplements, drink plenty of water, do regular exercise, maintain proper pelvic hygiene.
Hope this may help you. Contact further if follow up needed.
Best regards, Dr. Sagar
