What Causes Heavy Vaginal Discharge And Foul Odour After Having Sex?

My girlfriend and I have unprotected sex. She then got heavy discharge and a foul fishy odor. She got sti tested and was all clear and doctor stopped her problem. We then had sex again, and it came back. Is the issue with me? I carry some sort of fungal infection? It might be worth mentioning i did have a one night stand with a girl who had a disgusting smell from her vagina. Can I catch something from her and then pass it on, maybe? Thanks

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
The reason why your girlfriend could be experiencing such symptoms in the vaginal area could be due to bacterial vaginosis along with fungal infection.
Kindly ask her to overcome this problem by doing the following.
1. Wash the region with mild antiseptic solution like Savlon twice daily.
2. After drying, apply antibiotic medication Clindamycin Cream twice daily.
3. Apply anti-fungal medication Fluconazole as a single dose vaginal pessary.
4. Take a course of oral antibiotic medication Tablet.Metronidazole.
5. Use vaginal pH balancing solution 'v wash' regularly.
6. Wear loose fitting undergarments to avoid friction and provide proper ventilation.
7. Abstain from sexual activities till the symptoms subside completely.
It would be better you take a course of oral antibiotic Tablet.Metranidazole and use protection in the form of condoms while having intercourse to be protected from spread of such sexually transmitted infections.
