What Causes Heavy Weight Gain And Head Pain During Pregnancy?

Hi , i have a small concern. I am currently 40 weeks pregnant and my starting weight was 169 , now i am at 212 . Im a bit concerned because lately i have been have some shooting pains in my head that last couple seconds but still really annoying. Do u know what os the cause. Thank you.

Thanks for the query. I have read & understood your query.
Severe head ache & weight gain in pregnancy suggests rise in blood pressure with swelling on limbs/ body.
You should consult your treating doctor immediately / move tro ER for prompt medication.. in case doctor's appoint is not available early.
Taking bed rest/ avoid stress/ eat less of salt in diet.should be your personal care apart from medicines advised.
