What Causes Hematoma Below The Penis Opening After Circumcision In Infant?

My newborn son had a circumcision 7 days ago at his pediatricians office. He know has a hematoma on the bottom side of his penis just below the head. Should I take him to the emergency room or can we wait to take him back the pediatricians office in the morning?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your child hematoma below and close to the head of the penis after previous circumcision I am suggesting that this is due to a cut in one of the penile vessels that has led to accumulation of blood under the skin of the penis
In view of this please see your paediatric surgeon specialist for further clinical assessment and possible surgical interventional procedures
I hope this helps
Regards
